Who We Are
Hey there, welcome to August Studio! I'm Emersyn, your go-to gal for all things hair. Graduating from cosmetology school in 2017, I quickly fell head over heels for highlighting hair—it's my second love (the first being my long term boyfriend, Sonny!). After that, I worked at a downtown Palm Harbor salon, where I was an Aveda brand ambassador, soaking up every bit of knowledge I could on the weekends.
That's when I crafted my game-changing Lived-In Color technique. Trust me, it’s the kind of hair results that will have people asking you where you got your hair done. Fast forward to today, and you'll find me right here at August Studio, where we are all about good tunes, chill vibes, and giving you Pinterest worthy hair.

This review is looooong overdue. I have been going to Emersyn since before she opened August Studio. Boy am I glad she did because her skills have blossomed even more, which I didn’t think was possible because she was already so talented. She curates the experience to make you comfortable and dedicates her own time to continuous learning so that she can continue to excel in her work. She then shares her knowledge to make sure you are able to take care of your hair at home as well as she takes care of it in the studio. Although I no longer live in Florida, I still travel back home to get my hair done in August Studio because no one I’ve found matches Emersyn’s talent!

She is so sweet and wants to get to know you. Usually, going to a hairdresser can cause anxiety, but Emersyn is so personable and wants to make your appointment as fun and chill as possible! Also...SHE'S FABULOUS AT DOING HAIR! I was feeling really insecure about my hair before coming to her appointment but after my appointment, I felt so much more confident about my hair. I was always nervous about getting bangs but she encouraged me to try it out and it was the best decision. She's the best hairstylist and I'm so happy I met her!
